Torch

Chains & your main chain

Which chains the bot supports, what the main chain means, and how cross-chain buying and selling behaves.

The bot is chain-agnostic on the surface. You paste an address, the bot detects the chain, and the same screens render with the right symbol, decimals and explorer.

Supported chains

Trading is live on all of these. For the full table see Protocol → Chains.

The main chain

/chain sets your main chain. It is a preference, not a transfer:

  • It decides which balance the bot spends by default when you buy a token on another chain.
  • It decides where sell proceeds go by default (auto-bridged back home).
  • It is the balance shown in the menu header.

Switching it never moves funds. Your money stays exactly where it is.

Cross-chain in practice

Buying a token that lives on another chain. The token card shows: Paying with Robinhood ETH, bridges automatically, then swaps on Base. You tap an amount once; the bot bridges the funding, waits for it to arrive, then swaps. You can toggle the card to pay from the token's own chain instead if you already hold gas there.

Selling. The sell screen has a toggle: send proceeds to your main chain (default) or keep on the token's chain. Cross-chain sells swap locally to native first, then bridge that native home.

Solana. Solana has its own wallet. You can pay for EVM tokens with SOL and for Solana tokens with ETH: the bot bridges first, then buys. To simply move money between Solana and EVM, use Bridge.

If the buy after bridging fails (the price moved, or impact needs your OK), your bridged funds are safe on the token's chain. Tap Buy again and it becomes a normal buy there. A small amount is kept back as gas, so you can sell later without topping up.

Native decimals and symbols

The bot always formats with the chain's real native symbol and decimals (SOL uses 9 decimals, EVM chains use 18). If a balance ever looks off by orders of magnitude, refresh; do not act on it.
