Torch

Chains

Every network Torch supports, what you can do on each, and what's different about them.

One address, many chains

  • Your EVM address is the same on every EVM chain (Robinhood, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB, Ink, Stable, Arc). Balances are separate per chain: ETH on Base is not ETH on Robinhood.
  • Your Solana address is a separate wallet.

That's why sending funds to your EVM address on the wrong EVM chain is usually recoverable: the address is yours on every EVM chain, so switch to that chain in Torch and you'll see it. This does not work between EVM and Solana: funds sent from an EVM chain to your Solana address (or the other way round) don't arrive there.

What's different per chain

ChainWorth knowing
Robinhood ChainVery fast and cheap. Home of the Torch launchpad and $TORCH.
SolanaSeparate wallet. Every transaction needs a little SOL for fees, even selling another token, so keep ~0.01 SOL.
EthereumHighest gas costs of the supported chains.
BNB Smart ChainGas is paid in BNB, so keep a little BNB for selling later.
Stable, ArcGas is a dollar stablecoin (USDT0 / USDC), so balances show in dollars.

Your main chain

The bot lets you pick a main chain (/chain). Buys on other chains can be paid from your main-chain balance and are bridged automatically. See Bot → Chains.

Every trade, bridge and claim links to the right block explorer for its chain, so you can check it yourself.
