Torch

Orders

Limit buys, take profit and stop loss from the Limit tab, and where to see and cancel them.

Orders created in the Terminal and in the bot are the same orders. Create in one, cancel in the other.

Creating

On a token page open the Limit tab.

Sell below currentSell when price hitsStop loss
  • Size: native amount (buy) or % of your holding (sell).
  • Trigger: USD price, or quick chips (-10%, +25%, …) relative to the current price.
  • A trigger that would fire right now is refused (trigger already met). Use a market order instead.

On success the ticket shows the armed order and its trigger, and it appears under the Orders workspace tab with a Cancel action.

How they run

Identical to the bot: watched continuously, executed with your slippage under your automatic signing permission, protective sells may widen slippage on retries, and orders self-cancel when the position is gone. Limits (20 open orders, 10 DCA plans) are per account. Full detail on Bot → Orders.

Orders on volatile tokens

Take-profit, stop-loss and limit orders are best-effort. On volatile or thin tokens the price can jump past your trigger, liquidity can disappear, or a sell can fail even after retries. Torch can't guarantee that an order fills, or fills at your trigger price, and isn't responsible for losses when an order fills late, partly or not at all because of market conditions. Size your positions with that in mind.

Notifications

If your account is linked to Telegram, the bot sends you a message when an order fills. Wallet-only accounts see fills in the Orders tab and Portfolio.

Recurring buys (DCA)

Recurring buys are set up in the Telegram bot today. They show up in the Terminal's Orders tab like any other order.
