Launch
Launch a token from the Terminal, on the Torch launchpad (Robinhood Chain) or a partner launchpad, in a few steps.
One transaction launches the token, creates its pool and locks the liquidity forever.
Open Launch in the Terminal. You can launch on the Torch launchpad on Robinhood Chain, or on a supported partner launchpad (for example on Solana). More chains are coming soon. How the Torch launchpad works is explained in How the launchpad works.
Torch launchpad: Quick launch
1. Basics
- Preset: Degen, Launch or Steady. This sets the starting market cap (1, 2.5 or 5 ETH). Lower starts move faster; higher starts are calmer.
- Name, ticker, description, image and socials. These are written on chain with the token and can't be edited later, so double-check spelling.
- Pair: ETH by default. Launches can also be paired with $TORCH, USDG or a Robinhood stock token, and more pairs will be added as Torch grows.
Images: square, PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 4 MB.
2. Fees
- Buy tax: 1% to 10% (2% by default), fixed forever. Only buys are taxed.
- Your share (70% of the tax) goes to: you, buyback-and-burn, or holders. The other 30% goes to Torch.
- Anti-snipe is on: the tax starts at 80% at launch and falls to your rate within seconds.
3. Review and launch
- You see everything you picked and the launch fee (0.00015 ETH for a Quick launch). Your token's address will end in
1111. - Dev buy (optional): buy some of your own token in the same transaction, at the starting price and without the buy tax. The screen shows how much of the supply you'd get and the resulting market cap.
- Launching needs your password (or wallet approval). Afterwards you land on your new token's page.
Custom launch (coming soon, 0.0003 ETH) adds splitting your share across several destinations, team launches with vesting, and turning anti-snipe off.
After you launch
- Your token's page shows Token info → Launch details: creator, preset, tax, split, and everything paid out so far (creator fees, tax collected, burned, paid to holders).
- Creator fees build up automatically as people buy. Claim them from your Profile → Launches, as ETH or as your own token. You can also change your payout wallet or hand over the creator role.
- If you don't claim or earn fees for 60 days, the unclaimed balance buys back and burns $TORCH.
Partner launchpads
Partner launchpads use their own rules: usually a bonding curve that later migrates to a normal pool, and their own creator fees. Torch shows the venue's settings in the wizard and takes no launch fee there.
Can I change something after launch?
No. Name, ticker, image, tax and split are permanent. That's what makes launches trustworthy for buyers, so check the review screen carefully.
