Not Torch fees

  • Network gas goes to the chain.
  • Slippage is the worst price you accept. You usually get better.
  • Price impact is how much your own trade moves the price.
  • Bridge network and provider fees go to the bridge and are itemised on the quote.
  • A token's own tax. Many tokens, on any launchpad, charge their own tax on buys (and some on sells). It's set by the token, taken inside the trade and goes wherever that token sends it; it isn't part of Torch's trading fee. Quotes already include it. For Torch launchpad tokens, see How the launchpad works.

Where the 1% trading fee goes

1% trading fee
├── half → your cashback (20–40% of this half) → the rest buys back and burns tokens
└── half → your referrer's share (20–50% of this half) → the rest funds Torch

So every trade gives some back to the trader, rewards whoever referred them, and burns tokens. Details on Rewards & burns.

The 0.5% fee on $TORCH trades works differently: it goes entirely to $TORCH's burn wallet and treasury, so $TORCH trades don't earn cashback or referral rewards. See $TORCH.

Fee changes

Trading fees are set by Torch and any change is announced. Whatever applies is always shown before you confirm. A launched token's buy tax can never change.
