Torch

Rewards & burns

Cashback, referral earnings, holder rewards from Torch launches, and how burns happen.

Torch has three kinds of rewards: cashback on your own trades, referral earnings on the trades of people you invited, and holder rewards from Torch launchpad tokens you hold.

How the trading fee is shared

The 1% trading fee is split into two equal halves. Each reward takes its percentage of its own half, so they always add up exactly to the fee.

                 ┌── half A ──┬── your cashback = your tier %
1% trading fee ──┤ └── buyback & burn = the rest
                 └── half B ──┬── referral = your referrer's tier %
                              └── Torch = the rest

Your referrer's earnings come out of Torch's half, not out of your cashback.

Claiming cashback and referral rewards

  • Rewards build up per chain, in that chain's gas token (ETH, SOL, BNB…).
  • You can claim a chain once it reaches $5. The payout goes to your Torch wallet on that chain.
  • Claim on the Rewards page in the Terminal, or with /cashback and /referral in the bot.
  • $TORCH trades don't earn cashback or referral (that fee goes to $TORCH's burn and treasury).

Holder rewards (Torch launchpad tokens)

When a token's creator chose to send part of its buy tax to holders, everyone holding that token earns a share:

  • Based on how much you hold and for how long. Buying right before a payout and selling right after earns very little.
  • No minimum holding, and rewards never expire.
  • Claim all your holder rewards at once, across every token and every one of your Torch wallets, from your profile or the Rewards page in the Terminal.
  • Claiming needs your password, because it's a transaction from your wallet. The confirmation shows Torch holder rewards as the contract you're interacting with.

Burns

What gets burned is always a token, sent to a dead address where no one can ever move it again.

SourceWhat's burned
The burn share of the 1% trading feeThe token you traded, bought back with that share
Torch launch tax set to BurnThat launch's own token, automatically
$TORCH's own tax and trading fee$TORCH (see $TORCH)
Creator fees left unclaimed for 60 days$TORCH, bought back and burned

Burns run automatically as balances build up, not on a fixed schedule. Every burn is a public on-chain transaction, and $TORCH burns are announced in the Torch community chat.

"Every trade burns"

That's the short version. Precisely: half of every 1% trading fee, after your cashback, goes to buyback-and-burn.
