$TORCH

Torch's own token on Robinhood Chain: how it was launched, what its buy tax does, and how trading on Torch feeds the burn.

$TORCH is Torch's own token. It was launched on the Torch launchpad on Robinhood Chain, with the same rules as every other Torch launch: a fixed supply, liquidity locked forever, and no owner or mint.

Where the $TORCH buy tax goes

70%Holders
30%Torch, part of which is used for buybacks and burns

During the launch phase

While $TORCH is young, the full 70% holders' share goes into buybacks and burns instead, until there are more holders and the distribution is clearer. After that it moves to holder rewards. Read more below.

Conversions and burns run automatically, several times an hour. Every burn is an on-chain transaction anyone can check, and the Torch community chat announces each one.

The plan for $TORCH holder rewards

This is where $TORCH is heading once the launch phase is over. It's a plan, not live yet. It will switch on between today and 25 October 2026, and the exact date will be announced publicly on our official channels.

  1. The $TORCH tax goes to holders. The 70% share of $TORCH's buy tax that goes to buybacks and burns during the launch phase then goes fully to $TORCH holders.
  2. $TORCH holders share in Torch's trading revenue. Part of every trading fee paid on Torch goes to $TORCH holders.

Where the holders' share comes from

Every trade on Torch pays a 1% fee, split into two halves (see Rewards & burns):

  • Half A (0.50%) pays your cashback, and the rest buys back and burns tokens. This doesn't change.
  • Half B (0.50%) first pays the referrer's share, if the trader was referred. What's left is split equally between Torch and $TORCH holders.

For example, if the referrer's share is 0.20%:

Part of the 1% feeGoes to
0.50%Half A: cashback + buyback and burn
0.20%Referrer
0.15%$TORCH holders
0.15%Torch

Example: $1,000,000 in trading fees

$1,000,000 in trading fees is about $100,000,000 of trading volume at the 1% fee.

Amount
Half A: cashback + buyback and burn$500,000
Half B$500,000
  Referrers (0.20% of 1%)$200,000
  $TORCH holders$150,000
  Torch$150,000

Holders receive it the same way as other holder rewards: by how much $TORCH they hold and for how long, claimable whenever they like.

What counts

Only trading fees feed $TORCH holder rewards. Bridge fees, gas/stablecoin swaps, launch fees and other revenue don't. The actual referrer share depends on each referrer's tier, so the holders' share per trade varies a little.

Trading $TORCH on Torch

  • The Torch trading fee on $TORCH is 0.5% (half the normal 1%).
  • That fee is split between the burn wallet and the treasury.
  • $TORCH trades don't earn cashback or referral rewards, because the fee goes to $TORCH itself.

Other things that feed $TORCH

  • Unclaimed creator fees: if a launch's creator doesn't claim or earn fees for 60 days, the unclaimed balance buys back and burns $TORCH.
  • A pair asset: creators can launch tokens paired against $TORCH, so those tokens trade in $TORCH instead of ETH.

Checking it yourself

  • The $TORCH contract and the launchpad are verified on the Robinhood Chain explorer.
  • The amount burned so far is the balance of the dead address. The Burns page in the Terminal and /burn in the community chat show the running total.

Not financial advice

$TORCH is a volatile token. Burns reduce supply but don't guarantee any price. Read the Risk disclosures.
