Launchpad
Launching a token on Torch, and buying launchpad tokens: buy tax, anti-snipe, creator fees and holder rewards.
Launching
A small flat fee (0.00015 ETH for a Quick launch, 0.0003 ETH for a Custom launch) plus network gas, plus your dev buy if you choose one. There's no liquidity to seed: 100% of the supply goes into the pool for you.
No. Everything you set is permanent. That's what lets buyers trust a Torch launch. Check the review screen carefully before you confirm.
Degen (starts at 1 ETH market cap) moves fastest. Launch (2.5 ETH) is the balanced default. Steady (5 ETH) gives a calmer chart. Nothing else differs.
An optional first buy of your own token in the same transaction as the launch, at the starting price and without the buy tax. The review screen shows how much of the supply it gets you.
No. It's locked in the launchpad contract forever, with no withdraw function. Not you, not Torch, not anyone.
In the Terminal, under Profile → Launches. You can claim as ETH, use it to buy your own token, or take your share as tokens. You can also change your payout wallet or hand over the creator role.
Your fees wait for you. Only if there's no claim and no new fees for 60 days does the unclaimed balance go to buying back and burning $TORCH.
On Solana, through a partner launchpad (it follows the partner's rules, and Torch takes no launch fee there). Launching on more chains is coming soon.
Buying launchpad tokens
The address ends in 1111, and Token info → Launch details shows the creator, the tax and where it goes.
That's anti-snipe. In the first seconds after launch the buy tax starts at 80% and drops to the normal rate (within 30 seconds on Degen, 15 on Launch and Steady). It's there to make sniping bots pay. Buying a few seconds later costs the normal tax.
No. Torch launchpad tokens only tax buys. Sells, transfers and exchange deposits are never taxed.
The price reached 10x its starting point. It's just a milestone; nothing migrates or changes on chain.
30% to Torch, 70% where the creator chose: to the creator, burned, or paid to holders. You can see the split and how much has been paid out under Token info → Launch details.
Holder rewards depend on how much you hold and for how long. If you bought shortly before a payout, or only held for a short time, your share is small. Holding longer earns more.
